Where is it?

The Linn County Fairgrounds are located at 201 Central City Road in Central City, right off Highway 13.

Where do I park?

There are several lots on the fairgrounds for parking - see the map below. Sections A,C, and D are for general parking, and section B is for handicap parking. For a larger map, click HERE.

When is it open?

The official fair hours are Wednesday, June 26th through Sunday, June 30th from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m.

How much is admission?

Daily fair admission is $5 for ages 11 and up. If you plan to attend the fair for multiple days, a wristband is $15. Admission is free on Wednesday, June 26th, but here are the rest of the paid admission hours for the fair:
  • Thursday, June 27th - 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Youth Day)
  • Friday, June 28th & Saturday, June 29th - 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, June 30th from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Military Appreciation Day)
    • Past/present military personnel receive free grandstand event ticket with paid fair gate admission

You can purchase your tickets at the gate, or get them in advance online HERE.

What are this year's grandstand events?

Tickets for all of the 2024 grandstand events are available at the ticket booth or online HERE. *REMINDER: the purchase of a Grandstand ticket does NOT include fair admission. You will still be required to pay for admission at the gate.
