A Popular Corridor Drink Trailer is Opening a Drive-Thru Location
You don't have to wait long to enjoy a beverage from Wilder Thirst! In addition to their seasonal drink trailer, they're also set to open a drive-thru location in Palo this spring.
What's Wilder Thirst?
Wilder Thirst is an Eastern Iowa beverage trailer that specializes in "dirty" sodas and energy drinks. Instead of just offering Coke or Alani or Red Bull, they take these beverages and mix them with other flavors to give them a new taste. You can choose one of the MANY signature beverages that the business offers, or get creative and make up your own!
Wilder Thirst, originally known as 'Fizz Wagon Dreamsoda,' was started by Danni Pace back in 2023. It started as a part time venture, but eventually, Danni decided she wanted more. A Facebook post from Wilder Thirst reads:
"By February 2024, I went all-in and took the trailer full time. Not long after, I discovered that a couple of other businesses in nearby states had the same name. That sparked the idea to rebrand, and Wilder Thirst was born!"
Where Are They Opening Their New Location?
According to the Facebook post, Wilder Thirst will be opening a drive-thru location in Palo this spring! An additional post from the shop Local. Palo revealed that they will be sharing their new building with Wilder Thirst at 606 1st Street. The space is still undergoing construction, but they hope to be open by March 2nd.
What About the Trailer?
Don't worry! The Wilder Thirst trailer isn't going away. In fact, there's already a tentative opening date for the trailer! The post reads:
"Wilder Thirst trailer opening tentatively APRIL 6 in the Fleet Farm parking lot AS A DRIVE THRU"
On top of that, there's also a second Wilder Thirst trailer that just launched last summer in the Des Moines area, and that one is set to open in "June or July (more information to follow)." The post promises that addresses will be announced as the opening dates get closer.
