This is one of those occasions where you're just glad to be recognized.

Timeout is putting together its list of America's top 100 bars, and before they get to numbers 50-1, Nos. 100-51 has just been released, and Illinois got some love.

While all three are in Chicago, they are the kinds of places that if you're coming in for a night in the Windy City, you'll probably want to check them out.

Lemon Ranks Highest at No. 62

Lemon was the highest of the three ranked No. 62 overall. Lemon is located at 1600 West Grand Avenue and it's described as "cozy, come-as-you-are cocktail bar." Sounds like the kind of place I'd love to check out.

Queen Mary Tavern Slides In at No. 63

Queen Mary Tavern was listed right behind Lemon at No. 63 and if the coziness of Lemon isn't for you, maybe the "old-school saloon" style is more your jam. Queen Mary Tavern is at 2125 West Division Street.

Nine Bar Rounds Out the Trio at No. 89

The last bar on the list, at 100-51 in Illinois, is Nine Bar, fittingly placed at No. 89. Found at 216 West Cermak Road, the description reads as a place that offers "great cocktails" and "live performances" but nothing about the food, which by the way looks amazing.

With three Chicago bars already getting national love and attention, we'll toast to that, and wait to see if more of Illinois best bars get named in the top 50.
