Tyrol Basin in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin may be most well known for snow skiing and snow tubing fun, but during the month of October is transforms in a thrilling hill of terror.

Unique Halloween Fun in Wisconsin

When people are on a mission to find Halloween fun in Wisconsin, I think it's safe to say that a popular winter destination is one of the last places they will look, BUT they should!

Did you know that every weekend in October Tyrol Basin in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin becomes a massive haunted experience called "Terror At Tyrol"? ( I sure didn't know this!)

Terror At Tyrol is actually 5 separate haunted experiences in one location that begins with a trek up Tyrol Basin's ski slope;

The attraction begins with a chairlift ride to the top of the hill which is important to the whole experience.

The ticket gets you into the whole attraction and each theme flows consecutively into the next. It is not a pick and choose scenario based upon the natural flow.

So, to me it sounds like once you take the chairlift ride to the top of the hill, the only way you are getting back down is to travel through each of the 5 scary worlds Terror at Tyrol has created for you.

Are you brave enough to take the journey?

Tickets start at $25 and can be purchased online, here.
